Shanghai is an interesting cocktail recipe made using dark rum, grenadine and pastis.

Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 60 ml black rum
  • 1 dash grenandine
  • 1 slice lime
  • 15 ml pastis
  • 45 ml lemon juice
  • 5 cubes ice cubes
  • 1 cherry

Method:

  • Combine and shake all the liquid ingredients over ice until well frosted.
  • Strain and pour into a chilled glass.
  • Garnish with a slice of lemon and cherry and serve.
